Welcome message and a brief overview >>

Welcome to Harm Min Pages.

Life is full of choices: But sometimes, those choices  come with potential consequences. Here at Harm Min Pages,  we attempt to give you useful facts and skills you need to make informed choices. We will provide refusal strategies for various situations as well. We'll also go over potential risks.

An overview of harm minimisation.

Harm minimisation  is a practical approach to attempting to reduce consequences around negative behaviours as opposed to trying to completely get rid of them, and could potentially be seen as a more realistic approach. Harm min acknowledges that people will take risks as a part of life, and so attempts to demonstrate potential harm and how to avoid it.

Why is harm minimisation important?

Harm minimisation is important because it acknowledges that telling people not to do risky things basically never works. People will make their own choices, so harm minimisation will provide them with the knowledge to do that effectively.
